The celebration of the 50th anniversary of Indoor Brabant on Thursday evening became a fantastic party.
After the eventing competition the ‘Jumping Legends’ entered the arena and riders such as Johan Heins, Henk Nooren, Bert Romp, Rob Ehrens, Emile Hendrix, Maria Gretzer (SWE) and Franke Sloothaak (GER) were cheered loudly during their rides in this arena. competition that was eventually won by Bert Romp.
The audience was then taken on a nostalgic journey through 50 years of Indoor Brabant with a film and Jos Lansink and Anky van Grunsven were named Best Jumping Rider and Best Dressage Rider of 50 Indoor Brabant editions respectively. Equestrian sport fans could cast their vote from 9 February on the Facebook page of Indoor Brabant.
Then it was time for show and music: the audience was treated to a performance by The voice of Holland winner Pleun, who performed two songs before the ‘special guest’ made his appearance: none other than Guus Meeuwis entered the arena and the public got on the couches with the number, how could it be otherwise, “Brabant”.
The evening ended with a show with Brabant Draft horses where the public was invited by the organization of Indoor Brabant and the Brabanthallen to come and have a drink in the promo village.
