Frans van Rens
Beauty, innovation and simplicity form the basis of Frans van Rens' designs. He graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven and is a designer pur sang.
His design studio, VAN RENS DESIGN, specialises in consumer product design, retail design and public design. A broad design diversity that has already led to many successful and timeless products. Frans became best known for his unique work for Dutch Railways. He designed both the interior and exterior of the latest double-decker trains. He also designed the bicycle shelters at NS stations. Both are icons in the Dutch landscape. Meanwhile, Frans van Rens enjoys international fame with an original Dutch Design signature.
I find my passion and challenge in bringing together aesthetic and functional product features. In a good design, these ingredients are balanced, creating a timeless product.
